Death Star Galactic Challenge

Planet Modifiers

Global modifiers that affect both your squad and the enemies.

Modifier Description
Volatile Energies I At the start of battle all units gain the Volatile Energies ability. When a unit with this ability starts their turn, this ability gains 5% energy. Units with this ability deal increased damage equal to the amount of energy present. If this ability is fully energized at the start of a unit's turn, they may activate it to expend all energy and destroy target enemy, which can't be evaded. Units defeated by this ability can't be revived.

Tips

With the modifiers and enemy units constantly changing along with each player's roster being different, it can create more unique experiences that require creative thinking to be able to reach the max rewards a player is capable of. There are some general tips that can still be applied though:
General

  • Try using the faction required for the Full Team feat first at the highest tier you think you can achieve and then work backwards if they are not even close to completing it. If you are uncertain which starting tier would be best then choose a tier where the gear level of the enemy units is comparable to yours or the one just above it first.
  • If you are unable to get all feats with the same team, use multiple teams that focus on completing different feats and start at the highest tier working backwards as mentioned above.

Handling Global Modifier

  • Volatile Energies is shared with the opponent so make sure to keep an eye on when it will reach 100%. Below are a few ideas for team building that may help with managing it if you are having trouble with it.
    • Bringing a unit that can increase ally Turn Meter or swap Turn Meter can guarantee that you have an ally that can use it when it becomes available.
    • Bringing a unit that can have taunt up to take the destroy in case the enemy team manages to get it.
    • Bringing a team that can win the battle before the 20 turn mark or shortly after.
